Willowbank Wildlife Reserve is a wildlife park and nature reserve in Christchurch, New Zealand as well as having public displays of various animal species it also carries out conservation of native species including tuatara, brown teal, and Duvaucel's gecko. Willowbank also holds the only pair of takahē on display in the South Island of New Zealand outside a Department of Conservation facility.In particular, it is a place where you can meet New Zealand kiwi birds, guaranteeing viewings every times. The kiwi bird, which is hard to find anywhere else in New Zealand, can only be found here.

Cardboard Cathedral opened in August 2013 to replace Christchurch Cathedral, the symbol of Christchurch City, which was damaged by the 2011 Christchurch earthquake. It is a cathedral that cannot be found anywhere else in the world, built using containers for the exterior walls and cardboard for the interior. You will be surprised to see the unique structure inside the cathedral made of cardboard.
